Everyday Practice designed the cover for 『Safe and sound』, a theoretical series published by Humanitas. The book confronts a harsh reality—where death, injury, and pain are too often accepted as part of labor—and instead asserts that the right to work safely, without harm, is a fundamental and universal human right. It reminds us that workplace accidents are not limited to those in hard hats and safety vests, but are a risk embedded across all industries and professions.

To capture the strength and forward momentum of workers, we translated their collective will into typography. Particles of varying textures and sizes symbolize the wide range of labor sectors, conveying the complexity and multiplicity of modern work. A calm, clean color palette was chosen to evoke the themes of healing and recovery, pointing toward a hopeful future where safety and dignity in labor are not exceptional, but expected.
