올해로 10주년을 맞이한 여우락페스티벌은 전통 국악의 현대적 해석을 통해 국악의 대중화를 모색하는 공연입니다. 이번 여우락페스티벌의 주요 디자인은 전통공연에서 발견되는 복식과 국악기의 장식 요소를 최소 단위로 정리한 뒤, 현대적인 조형으로 재배치하는 데에 초점을 두고 있습니다. 장식 요소로 활용된 최소화된 문양과 ‘여우락’을 레터링 한 주요 모티브는 정보의 기능이 아닌 공연의 인상을 전달하는 기호로서 역할을 수행하고 있습니다.

Yeowoorak Festival
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Yeoworak Festival&is a performance that seeks to popularize Gugak through the modern interpretation of traditional Gugak. The design of Yeoworak Festival&focuses on the graphic motif of the decorative elements of clothing and instruments found in traditional performances and the relocation of the pieces to modern formations. The graphic motif, which uses patterns and ‘yeoworak’ as decorative elements, serves as a sign that conveys the impression of a performance, not a function of information.
