<WESS 전시후도록>은 독립적으로 활동하는 예술가와 기획자가 제작한 도록 배포의 한계, 혹은 어려움을 이야기하는 공통된 목소리에 주목하여 전시 관련 출판물 배포를 위한 일시적 플랫폼입니다. <WESS 전시후도록>은 ‘전시 도록’이라는 출판물을 매개체로 지나간 전시를 대해서 되짚어 보고, 휘발되는 전시와 대신 남겨지는 출판물의 관계에 대해 고민해 보는 시간을 제공합니다.
2023년 4회를 맞이한 <WESS 전시후도록>은 예술가들의 개인 출판물들을 웹상에 축적해나가고, 이를 대중에게 소개하는 플랫폼 ‘Adocs(에이독스)’, 을지로에 위치한 회원제 도서관 ‘나선 도서관’과의 협업으로 예술가의 도록 배포를 더욱 적극적인 방식으로 지원합니다.
일상의실천은 의인화된 수레에 담긴 다양한 형식의 책(도록)과 선명한 컬러, 볼드한 타이포그래피를 통해 <WESS 전시후도록>의 새로운 인상을 만들어가기 위해 노력했습니다.

<WESS Exhibition \ Publication> is a temporary platform for the distribution of exhibition-related publications by paying attention to the common voice of artists and curators working independently and the limitations or difficulties in distributing publications. <WESS Exhibition \ Publication> provides a time to reflect on past exhibitions through the medium of ‘exhibition publications’ and to consider the relationship between exhibitions and publications.
The event is in collaboration with ‘Adocs’, a platform that accumulates artists’ personal publications on the web and introduces them to the public, and ‘Rasun Library’, a membership library located in Euljiro, to support the distribution of artists’ books in a more active way.
Everyday Practice strived to create a new impression of the <WESS Exhibition \ Publication> through various formats of books in anthropomorphic carts, vivid colours, and bold typography.
