서울도시건축전시관에서 진행되고 있는 또 하나의 서울, 강과 산&전시는 서울의 공간자원이 절대적으로 부족한 현시점에서 인구구조의 변화에 따른 새로운 세대들의 공공프로그램에 대한 변화 요구에 어떻게 대응할 것인가에 대한 질문으로 부터 시작된 전시입니다.

또 하나의 서울, 강과 산은 포화상태에 이른 서울의 공간자원과 새로운 세대들이 필요로 하는 공공프로그램에 대한 요구를 건축적 작업방식, 즉 개념화, 통계화 및 분석, 개념 모형 등의 방법으로 명확히 전달하고 있습니다.

일상의실천은 제목이 담고 있는 산의 이미지와 도시를 연결하는 강과 도로를 형상화한 타이포그래피를 통해 전시의 주제를 시각화 했습니다.

The exhibition Void in the City was conceived when the curator wondered how public institutions should respond to the demands by citizens for improved public programs. The insistent call for action revealed in particular the concerns of the new generation, a group caught up in rapidly changing demographics and struggling due to scarce spatial resources.

The architectural curtain, which emphatically conveys the saturation of Seoul’s spatial resources and the new generation’s demand for much-needed public programs, is sure to arrest the attention of urbanities.

Everyday Practice visualized the theme of the exhibition with its title mountain image and typography depicting rivers and roads connecting the city.
