To A Faraway Friend: Beyond Afro-Southern ASEAN Affinities is a contemporary art exhibition with the ASEAN Culture House and the ASEAN Foundation. This exhibition is the third relay exhibition to be held in Korea after the Philippines and Singapore as part of the ASEAN Culture and Arts Exchange Project, co-organized by three curators from each country. This exhibition introduces aspects of regional solidarity and cultural identity formation that took place in Africa and Southeast Asia during the reorganization of the world order after World War II.

Everyday Practice visualized the title of the exhibition by borrowing letters from afar as a graphic motif. The main poster visualized the solidarity of East Asia through the image of exchanging letters. The form of the book that resembles a letter envelope actively reveals the graphic motif. And we tried to connect the graphic of the exhibition to all spaces and printed materials using the typography system.
