The Limgejang story’ is a book about the experiences of a 63-year-old worker who retired after 38 years of working as an office worker at a public company, as he jumped into the world of hourly labor for a living. The author lives as an apartment manager, parking manager, and cleaner and calmly writes about the reality of elderly workers we have turned away. “Limgejang” is short for “temporary contract old worker” and is the name that the author used to call him when he was working at a bus terminal. We collaborated with illustrator Kwon Minho to design the cover, based on the author’s experience of welcoming flower petals to ordinary people with seasonal changes, but he has to clean it up.
