Everyday Practice designed the cover for the “Subversive Human Rights” series, published by Humanitas. Using a handcrafted approach, we aimed to visually capture how human rights are reshaped and redefined through historical struggles and conflicts.

To convey the unruliness of human rights, we wove together sharp and threatening objects into a single mass—symbols of politics, conflict, and opposition tangled into an organic form that can be endlessly restructured and transformed. This mass, resembling a breached wall, represents the growth and evolution of human rights while also symbolizing a bold leap into the future. The “Wall of Human Rights,” firmly rooted in darkness, radiates a powerful and commanding presence.
