만동(滿動 MANDONG)은 기타의 함석영, 콘트라베이스의 송남현, 드럼의 서경수로 구성된 록과 재즈의 문법이 혼재된 장르적 경계와 구분을 넘나드는 크로스오버 재즈 밴드입니다.
일상의실천은 최경주 작가와의 협업을 통해 밴드의 구성원이 서로의 호흡에 귀 기울이며 만들어내는 만동의 사운드를 시각화하기 위해 노력했습니다. 만화의 컷신을 연상시키는 세 명의 연주자의 얼굴을 콜라주 한 이미지는, 따로 또 같이 하나의 소리를 만들어 내는 밴드 구성원의 연결성과 호흡을 시각화하고 있습니다.

MANDONG is a crossover jazz band that crosses genre boundaries and distinctions that mix the grammar of rock and jazz, consisting of Ham Seok-young of the guitar, Song Nam-hyun of the Contrabase, and Seo Kyung-soo of the drum.
Everyday Practice worked with artist Choi Kyung-joo to visualize the dynamic sound created by members of the band listening to each other’s breathing. The image of the faces of the three performers reminiscent of the cartoon cut scene visualizes the connectivity and breathing of the band members who create sound together.
