LG H&H Design Center Design Annual 2022는 LG생활건강 디자인 센터에서 진행하는 디자인 프로젝트의 자체 어워드 행사 결과물을 기록한 도록입니다. 이번 도록은 FSC 인증 용지로 제작되었으며, 플라스틱 사용량을 줄이고 제품을 친환경적으로 개선한 프로젝트들을 소개합니다. FSC(Forest Stewardship Council)는 산림의 손상을 막는 생산 방식과 산림경영의 지속 가능성을 평가하는 인증 기관입니다.
일상의 실천에서는 2022년도의 결과물을 모은 도록을 디자인했습니다. Design Annual에 매년 다른 키컬러를 적용하고, 일정한 표지 포맷과 무채색의 배경을 유지하는 일관된 디자인은 연속 간행물의 일관성을 시각화합니다. 기초 도형을 모티프로 각 년도의 심볼마크를 모듈화하여 유연한 변형이 가능한 아이덴티티를 확립하고, 표지에 해당 년도를 표기하여 지속 가능한 아이덴티티를 강조 하고자 했습니다.

The LG H&H Design Center Design Annual 2022 is a catalog of design projects from the LG H&H Design Center’s own awards. Printed on FSC-certified paper, the book introduces projects that reduce the use of plastic and make products more eco-friendly. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a certification organization that evaluates the sustainability of forest management and production methods that prevent damage to forests.
Everyday Practice designed a book to compile the results of 2022. Applying a different key color to each year of the Design Annual, maintaining a fixed cover format and neutral background, the book design visualizes the consistency of a serial publication. We modularized the symbol marks for each year with a basic shape motif to establish a flexible identity, and marked the corresponding year on the cover to emphasize the continuity of the design.
