Kwon Minho Solo Exhibition

We did a graphic design for the Kwon Minho Solo Exhibition “The dawn bell rang and the new morning came too”. Kwon’s work deals with the memory and reproduction of Korea’s industrialization. He is an artist who visualizes the complexities and internal contradictions of Korean society through multilayered drawing collages. His work visualizes the multi-layered aspect of Korea’s industrialization as a huge-scale drawing-instruction by superimposing images symbolizing the pride of Korea’s industrialization and the Korean society’s corruption revealed in the process of its industrialization. Kwon Minho’s work provides an opportunity for reflection on modern growth principles, which reflect on how we have lived in those times. We completed the graphic design by using the type developed during the transitional period, which was changing from handwriting to machine-based typefaces, to amplify the meaning of the work. Kwon Min-ho’s private exhibition,
