‘서울라이트 DDP’는 동대문디자인플라자(DDP) 건축 외벽을 스크린 삼아, 대규모 프로젝션 맵핑으로 도시의 밤을 밝히는 미디어아트 프로젝트입니다.
일상의실천은 2025년 여름, 가을, 겨울 세 시즌에 걸쳐 각 시즌의 키비주얼을 디자인했습니다. 이번 가을 시즌의 키비주얼은 DDP 외벽에 투사되는 미디어 아트의 색채 흐름을 ‘만다라(Mandala)’ 형식으로 평면화하여 재구성하였습니다. 건축의 곡면 위에 펼쳐진 빛의 흐름을 중심축 기반의 대칭적 그래픽으로 재배열함으로써, 몰입적인 영상 경험을 하나의 시각적 상징으로 응축하고자 했습니다.
시리즈 전반에는 하나의 타이틀(SEOUL LIGHT)을 중심으로 건축의 유기적 구조성을 드러내는 형태적 연속성을 유지하며 시즌별 브랜딩의 일관성을 확보하고자 했고, DDP와 각기 다른 모티프의 결합을 통해 회차별 독립성을 부여하고자 했습니다.

Seoul Light DDP is a media art project that turns the facade of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) into a large-scale projection canvas that lights up the city at night.
Everyday Practice designed the key visuals for the summer, autumn, and winter seasons of 2025.
The autumn visual reinterprets the color and motion of the projected media art into a symmetrical mandala form, compressing the immersive experience into a symbolic, graphic structure.
Using a unified “SEOUL LIGHT” title system and organically shaped typography, the series maintains architectural continuity while allowing each season to stand out with its own motif.
