부산현대미술관에서 주최한 <힐마 아프 클리트: 적절한 소환>은 서양 미술사 최초의 추상 미술을 선보인 스웨덴 출신 작가 ‘힐마 아프 클린트’의 작품을 선보이는 전시입니다. 이번 전시는 ‘형식과 의미의 만남’이라는 특색을 담고 있는 힐마 아프 클린트의 작품을 통해 과거와 현재의 연결고리를 새로운 시각으로 살펴보고 있습니다.
일상의실천은 힐마 아프 클린트의 작품이 담고 있는 ‘형식과 의미의 만남’을 함축적인 상징 체계로 재구성해 전시의 키비주얼로 표현했습니다. 전시의 키비주얼은 힐마 아프 클린트의 작품이 갖는 대칭과 기하학의 형식 그리고 순환과 융합의 의미를 연결해 개발했습니다.
이것은 작가의 작품에서 발견된 대칭적 구조의 오마쥬이며, 문자와 그림의 경계를 넘나드는 순환의 의미를 이야기하고 있습니다. 또한 키비주얼은 하나의 답을 정하지 않고 지속적으로 순환하면서 전시의 해석을 확장시켜 나아갑니다.

Hosted by the MoCA Busan (Busan Museum of Contemporary Art), <Hilma af Klint: Proper Summons> is an exhibition showcasing the works of Swedish artist Hilma af Klint, who presented the first abstract art in Western art history. This exhibition examines the connection between past and present through a fresh perspective, using Hilma af Klint’s works characterized by the ‘encounter of form and meaning’.
Everyday Practice reconceptualized the “encounter of form and meaning” inherent in Hilma af Klint‘s work into a symbolic system, expressing it as the exhibition’s key visual. This key visual was developed by connecting the symmetry and geometric forms found in Hilma af Klint‘s work with the meanings of circulation and fusion.
This serves as an homage to the symmetrical structures found in the artist’s work, narrating the meaning of circulation that traverses the boundaries between letters and images. Furthermore, the key visual expands the exhibition‘s interpretation by continuously circulating without prescribing a single answer.
