구보건축은 2015년 홍지학, 조윤희가 설립한 도시 연구 및 건축 설계 스튜디오입니다. ‘소설가 구보씨의 일일’안의 구보가 경험한 평범한 시선은 도시가 다수의 기억과 경험으로 만들어지는 것을 의미하고 있습니다. 구보건축은 일상의 가치를 발견하는 건축을 추구하며, 모든 구성원의 행복을 공유하는 건축의 결과물을 신뢰합니다.
일상의실천은 삶의 공간을 모티프로 구보건축의 아이덴티티를 그립니다. 하나의 공간이 서로 연결되면서 이어지는 구보건축의 아이덴티티는 각자의 삶이 연결된 모두의 도시를 이야기하고 있습니다.
구보건축의 웹사이트는 건축 프로젝트와 에세이를 기록하고 아카이브하는 공간입니다. 복잡한 디자인 요소를 배제하고 간결하며 논리적인 구조를 통해 사용자가 건축물에 더욱 집중할 수 있도록 설계하였으며 정보의 접근성을 높이는 것에 중점을 두었습니다.

GUBO Architects is an urban research and architecture design studio, founded by Jihak Hong and Yoonhee Cho in 2015. The ordinary gaze experienced by Koo Bo in <A Day in the Life of Kubo the Novelist> signifies that cities are made of many memories and experiences. GUBO Architects pursues architecture that discovers the value of everyday life and trusts in the outcome of architecture that shares the happiness of all its members.
Everyday Practice draws its identity from the motif of living spaces. As one space connects to another, the identity of the GUBO Architect tells the story of a city where everyone’s lives are connected.
The website of GUBO Architects is a space to document and archive architectural projects and essays. It is designed to focus the user on the architecture through a simple, logical structure that avoids complex design elements and focuses on making information more accessible.
