Nodal Point&is a place-specific project that began with inspiration for waterways that were lost because of restoration projects. Collects and classifies the symbols of Begunjang, which hold historical traces, and rebuilds the current meaning through specific actions such as images, objects, sounds, and interactive. The process of reproducing the traces of Baegunjang shows the imperfections of artistic translation and reproduction of past time. Hidden Utopia is a workshop where you discover personal memories and implement your own secret bases in a virtual bunker that becomes a refuge. Each secret base, not a bunker for military purposes, provides viewers with time for deep contemplation.

We designed the Nodal Point in a way that reveals the traces of the markings found in Begunjang on the front of the cover. Hidden Utopia also used the image of flames as motifs to symbolize virtual disaster situations.
