Every year, the Koreana Museum of Art hosts *c-lab, an integrated project that includes research, exhibition, education and archiving on visual arts and culture, to deepen its approach to the subject and explore the possibilities of art as practice with a longer-term perspective.

*c-lab 8.0 CHORUS draws attention to art’s ability to create shared experiences and make sense of the invisible, and to the power of the chorus to overcome and heal tragedy. The audience is invited to empathise with and experience tragedy on stage through a chorus of voices singing as one, despite their differences, in an attempt to aesthetically transcend life’s problems. Everyday Practice visualises the concept of the chorus through the image of two overlapping shapes that share an axis of rotation but are twisted at different angles, suggesting empathy and solidarity with one another as well as the spread of sound.
