BIOPHILIA is an exhibition that examines the collapse of the circulatory structure of nature and the universe, including the climate crisis caused by antheropocene and the global ecosystem crisis, and seeks future-oriented solutions to such problems. The exhibition is also designed to prevent the spread of antheropocene through the harmony of nature and humanity, while also seeking an understanding of species variability and conservation of biodiversity.
We visually expressed the form of chromosomes on which genes were recorded based on the BIOPHILIA theory that “human genes contain an inherent attachment to nature and a regression instinct.” These interpretations were designed and applied to the main graphics in a variable pattern that self-reproduces the self-producing nature of the species. The free-changing pattern becomes a “living” graphic motif in various movements, and that is the design concept of BIOPHILIA.
