새로운 일상의 탄생은 생활 창작과 수공예에 기반한 일상을 창작하는 일을 도모하는 일상창작예술센터 20주년 도록입니다.
일상창작예술센터는 지역사회와 예술의 공공성과 사회적 가치에 대해 고민하면서 예술의 관점에서만이 아니라 사회적이고 심리적인 관점에서도 구성원들의 불안과 고립을 함께 해결하고자 설립된 민간단체입니다. 서울 홍대 앞 프리마켓을 시작으로 ‘핸드메이드 페어’, ‘언유주얼 굿즈 페스티벌’등 새로운 시장 개척과 지속가능성에 도전해온 센터의 20년간의 이야기와 일과 일에 대한 가치관이 담겨있는 도록입니다.
일상의실천은 도록을 일반적인 형식이 아닌 단행본 형식으로 구성하여 글이 독자에게 친근감이 느껴지도록 디자인하였습니다. 인터뷰, 에세이, 인포그래픽 등 성격에 따라 적절한 레이아웃으로 디자인되어 글의 내용이 긴밀하게 와닿도록 노력하였습니다.

<The Birth of a New Everyday Life> is the 20th anniversary of the Daily Creative Arts Center, which promotes daily creation based on daily life creation and handicraft.
The Living & Arts Creative Center is a private organization established to solve the anxiety and isolation of members not only from the perspective of art but also from the perspective of social and psychological while considering the publicity and social value of the community and art. Starting with the free market in front of Hongdae, Seoul, the book contains the 20 years of the center’s story and work that have challenged new market development and sustainability such as “Handmade Fair” and “Unusual Goods Festival.”
Everyday Practice has designed the book in a book format rather than a general format so that the text feels familiar to the reader. Three-dimensional contents such as interviews, essays, and infographics were designed in an appropriate layout according to personality, so that the contents of the article were closely related.
