Beneath the Mountain, Along the Water

일상의실천에서 전남도립미술관의 개관 전시 산을 등지고, 물을 바라보다&전시를 위한 그래픽디자인을 진행했습니다. 산을 등지고, 물을 바라보다는 현대와 미래의 미술이 전통 미술과 어떤 상호관계성을 갖고 작품으로 해석되는가에 대한 탐구에서 기획된 전시입니다. 본 전시는 의재와 남농 : 거장의 길, 현대와 전통, 가로지르다, 로랑 그라소 : 미래가 된 역사&세 개의 전시로 구성되어, 각각 과거와 현대, 그리고 미래를 표상하며, 전남도립미술관이 지향하고자 하는 통합성과 미래지향성을 보여주고 있습니다.
일상의실천은 세 개의 전시를 통합하는 아이덴티티를 구축하고, 전통과 현대, 그리고 미래를 상징하는 타이포그래피를 다층적인 레이어로 표현하여 전시의 주제를 시각화했습니다.

We designed the opening exhibition of the Jeonnam Museum of Art, Beneath the Mountain, Along the Water. This is an exhibition designed to explore the interrelationship between modern and future art and how it is interpreted as a work. The exhibition consists of three exhibitions: “Huh Baek-lyun and Heo Geo: The Master’s Way,” “Modernity and Transition, Intersection,” and “Laurent Grasso: A History that Beckham the Future,” each representing the past, modern, and future.
We visualized the theme of the exhibition by building an identity that integrates the three exhibitions and expressing typography representing tradition, modernity, and future in a multi-layered layer.
