〈박원순 개인전〉은 박원순 서울시장의 임기 중 벌어진 도시재생 사업과 재개발 사업의 문제들을 토대로 한국 사회와 서울의 현주소를 조명하는 기획전이다. 작가들은 이번 전시를 통해 박원순 서울시장의 문화·예술관이 시장의 전시행정이나 서울시의 사업들과 어떻게 충돌하는지 작품으로 드러내기 위해 본인들을 ‘박원순 작가의 어시스턴트’로 규정한다. ‘어시스턴트’들은 박원순 서울시장을 60대 중견작가로 가정하고, 작업을 통해 인구 천만의 서울시에 개인적 이상을 투사하는 정책 결정권자이자 책임자인 ‘박원순 시장’을 ‘박원순 작가’로 만든다. 전시 폐막 하루 전인 3월 23일 오후 2시에는 작가와의 대화가 준비되어 있으며, 8팀의 작가들은 이날 행사를 위해 전시의 주인공인 박원순 서울시장에게 공문 형태로 초청장을 보낸 상태다. 자세한 정보는 박원순 개인전 페이스북 페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다.

Poster for Park Won-soon Solo Exhibition
The exhibition is based on the issue of urban regeneration and redevelopment projects, which took place during Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon’s tenure, and it is a planning exhibition that highlights the current state of Korean society and Seoul. Through the exhibition, the artists assume themselves as “The Assistant of Park Won-soon” to reveal how Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon’s culture and art values contradict with Seoul’s redevelopment projects. Mayor Park Won-soon will debut as the artist of Park Won-soon, who wants to reflect his personal ideals in public policy in the city with a population of 10 million.
