To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s Liberation, this project reinterprets the poetry collections of three iconic modern Korean poets — Sky, Wind, Stars, and Poetry by Yun Dong-ju, Poems of Yuk-sa by Yi Yuk-sa, and Silence of My Beloved by Han Yong-un — as a special edition printed on traditional Korean paper, Hanji.

Using Hanji, known as “the paper that lasts a thousand years,” the project reimagines its timeless materiality in a contemporary form, reviving the poets’ spirit of resistance and freedom. Created through a cross-generational collaboration among Everyday Practice, Park Geum-jun, and Ham Ji-eun, each book embodies a unique visual language that reflects the poet’s character and era, bringing their voices of resistance back to life.
