<Take My Eyes Off> at the Buk-Seoul Museum of Art(SeMA Buk-Seoul) explores the eye not just as a passive organ that reacts to what it sees, but also as an active tool that looks and searches. This exhibition looks at contemporary Korean painting through the actions of seeing.

Everyday Practice approaches the “eye” in two ways. First, the passive act of following visual information is shown as eye-tracking paths, using four key graphic symbols. Second, the active act of reading and observing is expressed through Calligrammes, where letters form shapes—so viewers read and see at the same time. These four graphic symbols appear throughout the exhibition space. They guide visitors and help them explore where text-based information is located.
