시대를 선도하는 아티스트와 블랙박스 시어터의 만남
세종문화회관의 ’Sync Next(싱크 넥스트)’는 매년 여름 세종문화회관에서 열리는 컨템퍼러리 시즌입니다. 무용, 연극, 오페라, 뮤지컬, 국악, 미디어아트 등을 통해 시대를 선도해온 아티스트들의 실험적인 공연을 가변형 극장인 S씨어터에서 만날 수 있습니다.
일상의실천은 ‘Sync Next 23’의 디자인을 진행하며 2023 시즌의 다양성과 실험정신을 강조하고자 했습니다. 개성 넘치는 아티스트들을 자유로운 유기체의 형태로, 그들의 고유한 정체성을 각기 다른 음파에 비유했습니다. 구분과 경계를 넘어 다양한 소리를 하나로 융합하는 ‘Sync Next’를 상징적으로 표현하기 위해 믹싱 프로그램 그래픽을 모티브로 차용하여 시각화했습니다.
또한 홍보물부터 공간 및 설치 등 다양한 상황에 시즌의 아이덴티티를 유지하기 위해 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 타이포그래피 시스템을 구축하였습니다.

Sejong Center’s ‘Sync Next’ is a contemporary season held every summer at the Sejong Center. You can experience experimental performances by artists who have led the times through dance, drama, opera, musicals, traditional Korean music, and media art in the versatile S Theater.
Everyday Practice undertook the design for ‘Sync Next 23’, emphasizing the diversity and experimental spirit of the 2023 season. The unique artists were metaphorically represented as free organic forms, comparing their distinct identities to different soundwaves. To symbolically express the concept of ‘Sync Next’, which merges various sounds beyond distinctions and boundaries, we adopted the graphics of a mixing program as a motif and visualized it. Moreover, a flexible typography system was established to maintain the season’s identity consistently across various situations from promotional materials to spaces and installations.
