The 2026 Seoul Botanic Park Special Exhibition was conceived under the theme “Adoring Harmony,” visualizing the sense that all beings in the world are endlessly reflecting and connected to one another. Drawing on the Buddhist concept of “Indra’s Net,” in which all things are interwoven like a web, each reflecting the other, the exhibition focuses on the intimate relationship between the individual being and the whole, as humanity moves beyond the Anthropocene toward a Symbiocene in which humans and nature find balance once again.

Everyday Practice sought to realize a sensory visual world in which humans, nature, and non-human beings intermingle without hierarchy, through a key visual that is organic and ambiguous, hovering between the virtual and the real, built on four elements drawn from nature: space and planets, plants, the human body, and technology and the city. The scenes in which these different beings share form, color, and flow to form a single network exist under three axes: “Connection,” “Circulation,” and “Symbiosis.” This deconstructed and recomposed landscape visually proposes the sensibility of Indra’s Net, in which all things reflect one another, and encapsulates the gentle, cyclical worldview of the Seoul Botanic Park special exhibition.
