Kwon Jonho, Kim Kyungchul and Kim Eojin who are designers of Everyday Practice have organized a universal alienation section as curators of the 2022 Public Design Festival theme exhibition “Road, Body, Life, Space”.
The basis of “publicity” contains “universality” that must be targeted at the majority of members of society. However, the shape and texture of our lives are all different. Therefore, in the design process for the public, someone’s alienation inevitably occurs. This exhibition introduces a delicate look at the forms of alienation caused by various reasons, such as class, generation, income, and occupation, as well as alienation by physical differences such as people and animals, old people and children, men and women.
